I can't believe my baby boy is one! It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital with him. Tonight as we were eating cake my sister came to me crying saying it just is so sad that a year ago today she was sitting in the hospital with Sandy waiting for you to have him and now she is no longer with us. It kills me to think how excited she was for McCrae to be born. She was so happy I was having a boy and I think she was so proud that her baby was becoming a dad. Sandy, my mom, and Kristi stayed at the hospital the whole day until I had him which ended up being at 3:00 am the next day...how dedicated where they.
I remember McCrae having the cutest round face and a head full of hair. He was a chunk and I loved him so much. He grew up way to fast thats for sure. I enjoyed the days when he would lay on the bed or couch and not move. Now you lay him on them he falls off, or if your trying to lay by him he lays on top of you. I still love watching him sleep, he tosses and turns all night and sleeps like a stink bug its so cute! He knows how to give five, give hugs and kisses (only when he wants too though), and can point to the light. He is extremly tickelish and loves to laugh and smile. He weighs about 23 lbs and still loves all sorts of food, as long as he sees you eat it he wants to atleast try it too!
Having him in our life has sure helped us to keep going through all our trials. I love this little boy so much!! We had our whole family come over to celebrate we had cake and ice cream at the Holden Pavillion and McCrae just loved his own little cake. Thanks so much for our amazing families for coming to share this day with him. We love you McCrae!
